Miss Phillips' Cholmondeley Castle Visit

Year 1 and Year 2 had a wonderful visit today to Cholmondeley Castle, the children looked fantastic in their Medieval costumes and the sun shone all day! Thank you to the parents/carers for providing such fabulous clothing it made the day even more special. A big thank you to the parents and teaching staff that supported with the visit and got into the spirit of things with their own fancy dress! The children learnt about the parts of the castle, why castles were built on hills, re-enacted a castle attack, saw the animals and enjoyed playing in the sunshine.

A wonderful day had by all!
